TENTIAL Co., Ltd. (“TENTIAL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) presents this Global Privacy Policy to describe how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, store and otherwise process personal information in connection with the products, services, and related offerings we make available (collectively, the “Services”). The Services include our websites, the provision of our products and services through websites operated by us or by third parties, and our responses to inquiries regarding the Services.
This Global Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal information that is subject to the laws of jurisdictions outside Japan. A separate privacy policy ([link](https://corp.tential.jp/privacy/)) applies to processing activities governed by Japanese law.
We process personal information in accordance with this Global Privacy Policy.
The laws and regulations of the country or region where you reside or are located may impose requirements regarding our processing of personal information that are more stringent than those described in this Global Privacy Policy. In that case, in addition to this Global Privacy Policy, which applies generally to individuals who avail of the Services, an appendix applicable to the country or region where you reside are located (each, a “Country Appendix”) will also apply. If there is any conflict between this Global Privacy Policy and a Country Appendix, the Country Appendix will control.
1. Categories of Personal Information We Process
We may collect and process the following categories of personal information about you. Where required by applicable law, we will provide a supplemental notice and obtain any consent required by law before collecting additional categories of personal information.
• Registration Information (your name, gender, date of birth, email address, account ID, password, phone number, address, postal code, social media account information, profile information such as height and other physical characteristics, shipping information, and similar information)
• Payment Information (credit card information, bank account information, information regarding electronic money and other payment methods, and similar information)
• Service Information (purchase history, transaction details, payment information, shipping information, information about your use of coupons, points, cash-back offers, and other incentive programs, and other personal information we obtain in connection with your use of the Services)
• Cookies, Other Online Identifiers, and Related Characteristics (access tokens and refresh tokens; IP address, internet service provider information, device identifiers (such as device IDs), operating system information, browser information, internet connection information, location information, referrer information, advertising identifiers (such as advertising IDs), URLs visited and browsing history (including date and timestamps), information relating to your use of the Services, usage history, server log data, and similar information; and characteristics such as age, gender, interest categories, affinity categories, and in-market segments. • Inquiry Information (your name, email address, inquiry category, contents of your inquiries, and communications with us)
• Social Media Information (your name, email address, profile information, user ID, account identifier, browsing history and information, click history, purchase history, cookies and other online identifiers, IP address, device identifiers, and similar information associated with the social media services you use)
• Inferences (inferences drawn from personal information relating to you regarding your preferences and interests)
We may also collect any other personal information that you voluntarily provide when you avail of the Services.
2. Purpose of the Processing
We may process personal information for the following purposes:
• register you for the Services, process changes to your registration, and verify your identity
• provide the Services
• bill for the Services
• maintain, administer, and improve the Services
• administer campaigns and surveys
• send to you, by telephone, email, postal mail, and other channels, information about products and services offered by us or by third parties, as well as related contents, coupons, cash-back offers, giveaway promotions, other incentive programs, and other information that may be of interest to you, including by using personal information such as Registration Information and Service Information to tailor that information to your preferences and interests
• market products and services offered by us or by third parties, including by telephone, email, and other channels, and by displaying advertisements in advertising space on websites we control, including by using personal information such as Registration Information and Service Information to tailor those advertisements to your preferences and interests

• as necessary, respond to disputes, claims, and litigation, and comply with our legal obligations
• prevent, investigate, and respond to misconduct (including fraud and cyberattacks)
• respond to your inquiries and otherwise communicate with you
• create statistical information and other non-personal information
• carry out other activities necessary to provide the Services and related activities
• share or disclose personal information to third parties in the manner described in this Global Privacy Policy
• any other purpose permitted by applicable law
3. Legal Bases for Processing
We process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. Information about the legal bases for processing in each relevant jurisdiction is provided in the applicable Country Appendix.
In some cases, you must provide personal information because it is required by law, or under a contract, or because it is necessary for us to enter into or perform a contract with you.
In particular:
• Providing Registration Information is necessary for us to create and maintain your account and provide the Services. If you do not provide Registration Information, we may not be able to provide the Services to you.
• Providing Service Information, Payment Information, and strictly necessary online identifiers necessary to operate the Services is required for us to provide the Services. If you do not provide such personal information, we may not be able to provide the Services to you.
• Providing Inquiry Information is necessary for us to respond to your inquiries. If you do not provide Inquiry Information, we may not be able to respond to you.
• If you do not provide personal information that we are required to collect or that is necessary for the relevant purpose, we may not be able to provide the Services or respond to you.
4. Retention Periods for Personal Information
In determining the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the personal information, the purposes for which we process the personal information and whether those purposes can be achieved through other means, and applicable legal requirements. When the personal information we have collected from you is no longer necessary, we will delete or anonymize the personal information, or, if that is not possible (for example, because the personal information is stored in backup archives), we will securely store the personal information until deletion becomes possible and ensure that no further processing takes place in the meantime.
5. Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information directly from you and automatically through cookies and other online identifiers. We may also receive personal information about you from third parties, including the following sources.
• We may indirectly receive analytics information and attribute information regarding customers who access our website from providers of website usage analytics services, such as Google LLC.
• In order to provide the Services to you, we may enter into outsourcing agreements or service agreements with platform service providers, payment processors, delivery companies, and other providers, including without limitation Global-e Japan Inc., its parent company Global-e Online Ltd., and their global affiliates, and we may indirectly obtain your personal information including Registration Information and Service Information from those service providers.
• For identity verification in connection with your use of the Services, we may indirectly receive your name, email address, profile information on the social media service you use, and relevant user ID and account identifier from providers of social media services, such as LY Corporation, Google LLC, You Tube LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., Bytedance Co., Ltd., X Corp., and Apple Inc.
• For the delivery of advertisements to you, the measurement and analysis of advertising effectiveness, and marketing optimization, we may indirectly receive your browsing history, click history, purchase history, advertising identifiers (such as cookies), IP address, device information, and browser information from providers of social media services that you use, such as LY Corporation, Google LLC, YouTube LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., ByteDance Co., Ltd., X Corp., and Apple Inc.
• For security purposes, including the prevention of misconduct, we may indirectly receive your user ID, account identifier, IP address, device information, browser information, browsing history, and access history from providers of social media services, such as LY Corporation, Google LLC, YouTube LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., ByteDance Co., Ltd., X Corp., and Apple Inc.
In addition, we may indirectly receive personal information about you from information made public by courts, supervisory authorities, and other public authorities.
We also may draw inferences about your preferences and interests from personal information we collect.
6. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information
To achieve the purposes of processing the personal information described above, we may share your personal information with, or disclose it to, third parties in the circumstances described below, as well as in other circumstances permitted under applicable data protection laws of the relevant countries, including where we have obtained your consent.

Payment Service Providers and Payment Card Brands
We may share or disclose your personal information, including your Registration Information, Payment Information, and Service Information, to payment service providers with whom we work, such as Shopify Inc., PayPal, Apple Inc., and Google LLC, and to international payment card brands, such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, in order to bill for the Services.
Platform Service Providers
We may share or disclose your Registration Information, Payment Information, and Service Information, to platform service providers, such as Global-e Japan Inc., its parent company Global e-Online Ltd., and their global affiliates in order to obtain customer support, account management, technical support, logistics services and related services.
Legal Compliance and Protection of Rights
Laws in your country of residence or other jurisdictions, and requests from public authorities and government agencies, may require us to disclose your personal information to those authorities and agencies. We may also disclose your personal information where disclosure is necessary or appropriate for law enforcement purposes or to address other matters of public importance. We may also disclose your personal information where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, pursue available remedies, enforce our terms of use, investigate fraud, or protect our operations or you.
Business Transfers, With Your Consent, or Otherwise Permitted
In addition to the foregoing, we may share your personal information with third parties in the following circumstances:

8. Security Measures
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards include security systems, internal management frameworks, and employee training.

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may use cookies including Flash cookies, web beacons, and other tracking or similar technologies, (collectively, “Cookies and Similar Technologies”), to automatically collect information about the computer, mobile device, tablet, or other device you use and how you interact with our website. We respect the rights you may have under applicable data protection laws. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights including the right to request access to, correction or deletion of, restriction of or objection to our processing of, or portability of your personal information, to suspend disclosure to third parties, and to request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties. 12. Children’s Personal Information
Our services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information of users under the age of 14. We will take the measures required under applicable law with respect to children’s personal information. California Privacy Disclosures
These Additional California Privacy Disclosures supplement the information contained in the Global Privacy Policy above. These Disclosures apply only to individuals residing in California.
We may collect the following categories of information:
Identifiers, such as your name, gender, phone number, date of birth, phone number, social media account information (such as your social media account identifier), physical characteristics (such as height), address, and e-mail address;
Non-precise geolocation data, which we derive from certain information like your IP address;
Commercial Information, we or our service providers may collect your financial information (e.g. your payment details), and details of the services we have provided to you (e.g. transaction history, shipping information, your use of coupons, points, and other incentive programs), or that you've enquired about, including any additional information necessary to deliver those services and respond to your enquiries;

Selling and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of certain tracking-technologies may meet the definition of “selling” or “sharing” as that term is defined by applicable law. We may have sold or shared the following categories of personal information with our targeted advertising service providers and partners: Identifiers, Non-precise Geolocation Data, and Internet Activity Information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 without the consent of the individual or their parent and guardian. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 13.
Use, Disclosure, and Retention of Personal Information
We may use personal information for the business and commercial purposes detailed in the “Purpose of the Processing” section of the Global Privacy Policy. We may Disclose personal information as described in the “Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information” section of the Global Privacy Policy.
We retain your information as described in the “Retention Periods for Personal Information” section of the Global Privacy Policy.
Shine the Light
California Shine the Light: If you are a California resident, you may opt out of sharing your Personal Data subject to California Civil Code §1798.83 (the “Shine the Light law”) with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes by submitting a request to opt-out as in the Your California Rights section below.

These Additional U.S. State Privacy Disclosures supplement the information contained in the Global Privacy Policy. Submitting a privacy rights request
To exercise your rights, please submit a request to us by emailing us at global-cs@tential.jp. Making a consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. Applicable law may limit the number of times that you can submit a particular request within a 12-month period.
You may be able to designate an authorized agent or parent or guardian to make a request on your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent, parent or guardian that does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf or if the agent attempts to exercise a right for which they are not legally authorized to do so.
Upon receiving your request to know, access, delete, or correct, we will need to verify your identity to determine that you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information you have previously provided us. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate. We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for the purposes of verification. If we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity, and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We may deny your request to know, access, delete, or correct if we cannot verify your identity.
